What SpriteFix does
in plain, simple steps.

Simple mode

Drop PNG, JPEG, or WebP. We clean them and show Ready — preview, frame size, download as PNG. Labels stay short and plain. If several files look ambiguous, we ask how to treat them. Open Guided setup only if auto was wrong or you need a Pro tool.

2. We clean one sheet, combine frames, or clean many sheets (or ask if we are unsure)
3. On Ready: play, pick size (32–256), download PNG or make a GIF

Clean & line up feet

We find each pose, remove empty space, line feet up in every cell, and make every cell the same size. Works for characters, items, effects, and icons — not only walk cycles. Clear or near-black backgrounds are fine. Frame size is 32, 64, 128, or 256.

Drop Jump, Attack, and Idle together. Each sheet is cleaned on its own — different lengths are fine. On Ready you can preview, pick what to download, remove a file, or add more. Free/Basic: 10 files / 2.5MB. Pro: 100 / 4.5MB.

Edit each file

Select a file and change only that one, then clean again. Full-screen editing with zoom for small pixel art: crop empty borders, flip, rotate 90°, remove a solid background, and erase stray pixels — a signature, a spark, a leftover guide line. We show the size in pixels. The eraser is included with Basic.

Preview & GIF

Play the animation before you download. Change the speed if you like. Download a looping GIF for store pages or Discord — it uses your current frame size and speed.

Guided setup

Open from Ready if Simple chose the wrong job. Pick a job, then answer only the next few questions.

Cut by grid · Pro

Use this when poses sit in equal boxes and auto-detect sticks them together (trails and effects). In Guided setup choose Cut by grid, then pick your frame size.

Layout & ZIP frames · Pro

Everyone gets a horizontal strip. Pro can also pack frames into a grid, export each pose as its own PNG in a ZIP, stack several sheets into one grid (one row per file), or split a grid back into one strip per row.

Free vs paid downloads

Free: full clean workflow + preview + GIF. Downloads have a watermark and _spritefix in the name.

Basic ($4.99 once): no mark, your original names, clean downloads on your account. No monthly fee. This is what most people buy.

Pro ($14.99 once): everything in Basic, plus bigger batches, cut-by-grid, ZIP of frames, grid layout, outline, and size data.

Outline & sprite data

Optional extras in Guided setup. An outline around each frame (Pro), and a sprite data file with your download (Basic): a sprites.jsonin Aseprite format listing every frame rectangle — read directly by Phaser, PixiJS and Cocos, and by Unity or Godot through an importer plugin — plus a bounds file with each frame's height, scale and tight box.

Game engines
