CamSprite Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

CamSprite ("the App") is provided by Piyush Kaushik(Developer) (https://spritefix.app). This policy explains what information the App handles and how your privacy is protected when using CamSprite on iOS and iPadOS.

1. Summary

  • Photos and camera frames are processed on your device.
  • We do not require an account, login, or registration.
  • We do not operate a CamSprite server that receives or stores your photos.
  • In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled securely by Apple through the App Store.

2. Information We Process

Photos and Camera

When you take a photo or select an image from your photo library, CamSprite processes that image locally on your device using on-device vision pipelines to create pixel-style artwork. Images used for this feature are not uploaded to any remote backend or cloud server.

Saved Artwork

Artwork you save is stored in the App's local storage sandbox on your device (and in your Photos library if you explicitly export it). You can clear the in-app gallery at any time from Settings → Clear Gallery.

Purchases & Billing

If you purchase a subscription or lifetime unlock, payment is processed directly by Apple. Apple may collect payment-related data subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to verify whether you have an active entitlement so premium features unlock. We do not receive or store your credit card or bank details.

Diagnostics and Crash Reports

Apple may provide anonymized crash logs and performance diagnostics if you have opted in system-wide to share analytics with app developers. The App also includes Firebase Crashlytics (Google), which reports crashes and errors so we can fix them. Crash reports contain technical information such as the device model, operating system version, App version, and the state of the App at the time of the crash. They never contain your photos.

Usage Analytics (Firebase)

The App includes Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand which features are used and how the App performs. It records anonymous product events — for example that a photo was taken, that a style or frame was chosen, that the upgrade screen was shown, or that an export finished — together with the standard device and app information Firebase collects, such as device model, operating system version, country, and an app-instance identifier.

These events describe actions, never content: your photos and the artwork you create are not sent to Firebase or to us. The App does not link analytics to your name or Apple ID, does not collect the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and does not use analytics for advertising.

3. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
  • We do not share your photos with advertising networks or data brokers.
  • We do not track you across third-party apps or websites for ad targeting.
  • We do not require you to create a username, password, or profile.

4. Third Parties

CamSprite interacts with the following services provided by Apple Inc.:

  • App Store (distribution, receipt validation, and payments).
  • iOS / iPadOS camera and photo library frameworks.

And the following services provided by Google LLC:

  • Firebase Analytics (anonymous product usage events and standard device information).
  • Firebase Crashlytics (crash and error reports).

Your photos are never sent to these services. The data they do handle is subject to Google's Firebase privacy documentation.

5. Children's Privacy

CamSprite is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

6. Data Retention

Local photos and gallery files remain in your on-device sandbox until you delete them, clear the gallery in Settings, or uninstall the App. Purchase records are retained by Apple according to Apple's standard retention policies.

7. Your Choices

  • Permissions: You can grant or revoke Camera or Photo Library access at any time in iOS Settings → CamSprite.
  • Gallery: You can wipe all saved local artwork at any time using Settings → Clear Gallery inside the App.
  • Subscriptions: You can manage, change, or cancel active subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Restore Purchases: You can restore previously purchased entitlements on any compatible device using the Restore Purchases option in Settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any revisions. Continued use of the App after changes signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
